THG Fluently is a long-term trusted partner to DHL. We have developed a partnership built on trust, aligned our process and workflows to complement DHL’s inner workings with the goal of ensuring continuous improvement across all areas of service delivery.
Our goal from the start was to ensure successful execution of their internal global training programmes with the view of enhancing employee engagement across DHL’s global markets. We are proud to continually be seen as an extension to the DHL projects team now across several key business units.
The Challenge
We needed to deliver consistent, high-quality training materials to a global workforce. This required simultaneous localisation across a vast array of languages, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy whilst meeting tight deadlines and key project milestones across a diverse range of content and service types.
The Solution
Our global scale, technical reach and meticulous project management ensured we could deliver continuously on the full end-to-end localisation process, comprising steps such as Translation, Proofreading and Post-editing of neural machine outputs, whilst rigorously applying detailed QA steps across all languages and formats.
In addition, the ability to execute with precision across all delivery formats including SCORM packages, InDesign, Premier Pro, After Effects, on-screen text, subtitling, and professional voice-overs ensured their projects were delivered on time and with the technical accuracy required. As a partner, we engaged closely with DHL to coordinate multilingual workflows as well as engaged with their global in-market review teams to ensure we met local expectations and preferences. We fully aligned content delivery with internal timelines and ensured effective stakeholder management throughout.
The Outcome
Our success has seen us expand our partnership to various business units across DHL. Internal stakeholders have seen a significant improvement in the quality of translation services, learner engagement, and desired learning outcomes. Our credibility and partnership has also allowed us to diverse into new divisions within DHL, where we are also providing both on-demand telephone interpreters as well as on-site interpretation across the world for assignments in the UK, Tanzania, Uganda, Bangladesh, Japan, Honduras, Ethiopia, Laos, Kazakhstan, Saudia Arabia, Canada, to name a few.
